Brand owners are given more control to decide just how much differentiation on their package is required to position their brand just right
Package Lab
Empowering brand owners to configure their own package within the boundaries of what is technically feasible today and tomorrow

The tool is populated with attributes that are both available currently as well as those road-mapped. The intent behind the sharing of road-mapped attributes is to foster better transparency between supplier and customer where both parties can better ensure development efforts are being invested in attributes relevant to their business needs

Package Lab is a prototype for a configurator tool designed for Tetra Pak's customers. Well recieved at Anuga Food Tech in 2012, the service has been piloted in key markets with Tetra Pak's Gable Top Platform.
Customers can browse from a menu of different package shapes, closures and material effects and combine them in different ways to confugure a package that is not only appropriated to their needs but also differentiated within their market.
The Price Index enables brand owners to make trade-offs between package attributes and cost as they explore new combinations.
BIG data
The tool is designed to capture data based on brand owner preference of attribute type. This can be used to help direct Tetra Pak's development efforts in the right direction as well as for other commercial business opportunities.
